Erie Shores Wind Farm is a 99-megawatt (MW) power generating facility located on the north shore of Lake Erie.  Wind power, which does not produce air pollution or greenhouse gases, plays an increasingly important role in Ontario’s electricity supply mix.  Learn more about Erie Shores Wind Farm HERE.

      • Erie Shores currently represents approximately 2.9% of Canada’s wind power capacity
      • Ontario currently has about 1,208 MW of installed windpower capacity, which represents about 3.4% of Ontario's electricity supply mix
